Updates from Mount Gould Coffee with Cops Meeting (30/09)

Good Afternoon,

I would like to thank everyone who attended our Coffee with Cops meeting last night at Tothill Community Centre.

The meeting was very productive, with concerns being raised from residents (as well as frustrations!), these have been recorded and will be raised with the local PC so that we can work together to tackle these issues.

I have agreed that we will act on the following actions as requested by those at the meeting as a priority:

Review our reporting procedures in relation to intelligence, primarily around drug dealing and ensure that these are being recorded - the more information that we have about a property increases the likelihood that we can execute a warrant to search the address.

Carry out a street survey on Lanhydrock Road to speak to residents - primarily regarding people living in vehicles and committing ASB.

Investigate vehicles parked in the area that may not carry valid VED, MOT or insurance and report these to the relevant authorities.

We have tentatively arranged a next meeting date of Thursday 20th November. I will confirm the meeting date and location closer to the event time.

I have provided our group email to residents so that intelligence submissions (suspicious activity / supply of drugs) can be recorded accurately, please can these be sent to nps-plymouthcentral@devonandcornwall.police.uk with the subject FAO 30771.
